Part of our sustainable denim line A BETTER BLUE: these jeans are made of organic cotton and contain elastane of recycled origin. Environmentally friendly washing and dyeing methods are applied.

For our denim line A BETTER BLUE, in collaboration with our Italian partner companies, like weaving mills, production companies and laundries, we have put a lot of passion and work into the development of sustainable materials and environmentally friendly treatments in the past - because we want to showcase that it is possible to significantly reduce the use of chemicals, water and energy within the clothing industry. The organic cotton used to produce these jeans is more environmentally friendly in cultivation and processing than conventional cotton. The elastane used for the production is made of recycled fibres.The patented Kitotex®* dyeing technology and innovative washing procedures require much less chemicals, water and energy compared to conventional methods.In 2016 Candiani received the sublicense to use the patented Kitotex® procedure exclusively for denim by the Tessitura del Salento Industriale S.r.l. / Canepa S.p.A.
